Museums in Enfield, London: Complete A-Z & Interactive Map

On the northern edge of London, Enfield’s highlight is the elegant Forty Hall, a Jacobean manor house set in extensive gardens perfect for a summer afternoon. Transport enthusiasts shouldn’t miss Whitewebbs Museum, and there’s also a community-museum exploring Enfield’s history and identity.

In 2026, Enfield is set to get a new blockbuster addition – Trent Park House of Secrets. A country estate, Trent Park House was used during the Second World War as a (pretty luxury) prison for senior German officers – and by eavesdropping in on the prisoners, it doubles as an intelligence gathering site. The new museum is set to open in Spring 2026.
