London is home to more than 200 museums – covering just about every aspect of human history and life. With so much choice, it can be hard to know where to go, or even what’s out there.
Use this interactive museum map to explore all of London’s museums in one place. It’s part of my ‘London Museum Guide‘, where you’ll find detailed information about each museum, with options to browse by theme or location. You can find instructions on how to use the map below.
How to use this map
- Zoom & pan: Use the +/– buttons or pinch to zoom in and out, and drag the map to move around London.
- Click markers: Select any museum marker to see its name, highlights, and a link for more details.
- Filter by theme: Look for the little ‘sidebar’ button in the top left corner of the map. Clicking this will bring up museum categories, which you can then tick or untick to filter the map to just the categories that interest you.
- Click the star button to save it to your Google account & view in Google Maps.
