A historic stately home which was the RAF’s Fighter Command HQ during World War Two. It tells the story of the Battle of Britain and the people who contributed to victory. It features interactive exhibits, and the opportunity to sit in a replica Spitfire cockpit. There’s also information about the history of the building and how it was used during the War. Bentley Priory is also of interest to architecture enthusiasts, designed by Sir John Soane.
