A free to visit, multi-sensory experience based around the ruins of an ancient temple of Mithras, a secretive and mysterious Roman cult. Found below Bloomberg’s London headquarters, the ruins of the 3rd century AD temple are brought to life by an immersive light and sound show. There’s also a small exhibition.

My personal take on
I love this little museum – probably the best displayed Roman site in central London.

This is partly because it’s such a unique site. A temple to Mithras – part of a mysterious Roman cult that we know little about. But it’s largely because of the way it’s presented, in a genuinely enaging, state of the art audiovisual show, followed by time to look at the ruins in your own time. I highly recommend.
