What it is

Museum tags: Historic building; History; Illustration; Niche history; Art; Victorian; Design; William Morris; Interior design

The perfectly preserved Victorian family home of cartoonist Edward Linley Sambourne, with beautiful interiors in the ‘aesthetic style’. Stunning stained glass windows and original WIlliam Morris prints. A time capsule of a museum, beautifully cluttered and over the top. You can also learn a little about Sambourne, who was most famous for his cartoons in Punch Magazine.
