Across lavish stately rooms, it showcase one of the world’s most significant collections of fine and decorative arts, including paintings by Titian and Van Dyck, arms and armour, and period furniture. It also hosts a wide range of temporary exhibitions, often showcasing more modern art – such as a recent exhibition of work by Grayson Perry.
