Sutton is a borough in South West London, home to three interesting museums.
The Little Holland House is (arguably) its highlight – a gem of the Arts and Crafts movement. Elsewhere you’ll find the Whitehall Historic House, a Grade II* listed Tudor manor, and the Honeywood Museum, another historic house. Both give glimpses into what life was like in, what was then, rural areas outside of London.

Northeast in Croydon are the Museum of Croydon and the Historic Croydon Airport Visitor Centre. And not too far north is the magnificent Horniman Museum and Gardens in Lewisham – easily one of South London’s best (and biggest!) museums and well worth the journey.
