What it is

Museum tags: Science and technology; Medicine; Interactive and immersive

One of Europe’s leading biomedical research centres, which runs exhibitions that open up cutting-edge science to the public, exploring themes like genetics, health, and the future of medicine. If you’re interested in science, medicine or innovation, check what’s on – their exhibitions are usually excellent.

My personal take on Francis Crick Institute
There’s something pretty special about walking into a living workplace at the top of its game. As you enter the Francis Crick Institute, you get little glimpses of the labs on the upper floors, where incredible discoveries are being made.

As for the exhibition space, it really depends on what’s showing. But they’re usually pretty excellent, it’s one of the best spots in London to learn about truly cutting-edge science. And it’s right by King’s Cross Station, so a great option while you’re waiting for a train.
