I’ve been to a lot of cities across Europe. But maybe, just maybe, Naples is my favourite. Chaotic and beautiful, sometimes misunderstood, sometimes crumbling and dirty, but always fascinating, surprising, and itself.
Yes, in recent years more tourists have flooded in. But Naples is still itself. It invites you into its world, and it’s up to you to keep up. That raw energy, combined with centuries of history and layers of culture, makes it one of the most fascinating places I’ve ever explored.
