One of the world’s largest libraries, with a free exhibition showcasing some of its treasures – including handwritten Beatles lyrics and the Magna Carta, along with important artefacts from across the world.

My personal take on The British Library
The Treasures of the British Library is one of my favourite permanent exhibitions in London. There’s always something new to see, and I can’t think of anywhere else where you’ll see so many important manuscripts, artefacts and documents, across such a wide range of topics, in such a small space.

The British Library’s temporary exhibitions are also always worth checking out. They focus on interesting topics in new and novel ways, and I’ve always found them engaging, state of the art and usually with lots of interactive elements.
